Endocrinology is a medical specialty that deals with the diagnosis, treatment and care of the endocrine system. The endocrine system is comprised of a complex group of glands that include the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, ovaries, testes, pancreas and hypothalamus. These glands produce hormones that control specific processes within the body including metabolism, reproduction, development and growth.

Please bring your insurance card and your most recent lab results to your appointment. Please bring an updated list of medications and supplements or the actual prescription/supplement bottles along with you.
If you have diabetes, please bring your blood glucose meter and blood glucose records.
If your insurance plan requires a referral please be sure your Primary Care Physician has provided one.
Write down any questions you may think of before your first visit. Bring these with you.
Arrange for a friend or family member to come with you. You will receive a lot of information at your first visit. It is helpful to have someone else with you to listen and take notes.
Please be prepared to pay your co-payment at the time of service.
